The Liebieghaus museum is focusing on sculptures from the Liebieg collection. The palatial house was built in 1896 for the textile magnate Baron Heinrich von Liebieg (1839–1904) and was acquired by the city of Frankfurt in 1908 and transformed it as it is today.
