Gardens & Parks, Museums & Art Centres
The Middelheim Museum is a sculpture park, covering 27 ha in part of the Middelheim Nachtegalen park, offering a fascinating overview of more than 100 years of visual art. It includes the Braem pavilion, opened in 1971, designed by the Antwerp architect Renaat Braem.
The 18th century mansion Middelheim, dating back to the 14th century, was acquired by the municipality in 1910 from the counts Le Grelle.
