Plas Newydd dating back to 1470, is the former country seat of the Marquesses of Anglesey. Since 1976 it is owned by the National Trust and houses also a military museum, related to the 1st Marquess of Anglesey at the Battle of Waterloo.
The garden at Plas Newydd includes the 5 acre rhododendron garden, accessed along a woodland and marine walk along the banks of the Menai Strait and the terrace garden.
The House and grounds are open to the public.
