Raby Castle, dating back to 1367-139O, is since 1629 in the hands of the Vane family, the Barons Barnard, up to the present day. The castle, with its outstanding collections, Deer Park, horse-drawn carriage collection and woodland play area, is an important tourist attraction.
Raby Castle is also a venue for open-air events such as Classic Cars and garden fairs.
