It was founded under the guidance of Mr Willem Rueb, who had spent eight years working in the 19th and Modern paintings department at Christie’s Amsterdam.

The firm specialises in modern and contemporary art and has a clientele of mainly private collectors.
Twice a year Rueb organises an exhibition at his gallery.

Rueb exhibits at renowned international Art fairs such as: TEFAF Maastricht and Art Miami.
Furthermore Rueb takes part in vetting committees of paintings and objects from the 19th-21st century for national fairs such as: Art Breda and Art and Antiques week-end,Naarden.
Willem Rueb also occupies himself with acquisition by commission and evaluation of paintings.
As a certified register-evaluator of paintings under number R019508, he is a member of the Federation TMV.
