Villa Carmignac, Porquerolles, set in a 15 ha garden containing some fifteen sculptures, is a Provençal farmhouse with exhibition galleries for contemporary art. The Villa is part of the Fondation Carmignac, created by Édouard Carmignac. 

The Fondation Carmignac, founded in 2000, is a corporate foundation structured around two main pillars: a contemporary art collection of more than 300 works, and the Carmignac Photojournalism Award that annually supports an investigative report that is the subject of an exhibition and a catalog.

Its founder, Édouard Carmignac is President and founder of Carmignac, a company specialized in asset management.  Édouard Carmignac has been collecting contemporary art since the early 1980s. 

Today, his son Charles Carmignac, an entrepreneur, author and musician, has taken over the management of the Carmignac Gestion Corporate Foundation and the Villa Carmignac.
