Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks
Villa Molin is a patrician residence, commissioned by Nicolò Molin (1562-1608), Venetian ambassador to Florence and to James I of England from 1603-1606. The architect was Vincenzo Scamozzi (1548 – 1616), whereas the Villa was completed in 1597.
The Villa has been in the hands of several noble families thereafter, until 1955 when it was acquired by the industrialist Inigo Kofler, who had the building restored and replanted the formal Italian walled gardens with boxwood-edged beds.
The Villa can be visited and is a venue for corporate and private events such as weddings.
