Villa Pennisi was built in the 19th century as the 'Grand Hotel de Bains', surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean gardens. The spa was sold, early 50s, but the hotel became private residence, whereas the gardens stayed intact.
The original set up was developed by Baron Agostino Pennisi di Floristella (1832 - 1885), designed by the well known architect Mariano Falcini.
Today the property is not only privately inhabited, but also a venue for cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, weddings...
