Wolkoff House Museum

Museums & Art Centres
Wolkoff House Museum is a merchant house and one of the oldest remaining wooden buildings in Lappeenranta. The house was constructed in stages between 1826 and 1905. It was acquired by merchant Ivan Wolkoff in 1872, whereas the house was inhabited by four generations of the Wolkoff family until 1983.

In 1986, the heirs of the Wolkoff family donated the house to the town of Lappeenranta for use as a museum.

The Wolkoff House Museum is, together with the South Karelia Museum, the Lappeenranta Art Museum, and the Cavalry Museum, part of the Lappeenranta Museums, run by the City.
