WWT London Wetland Centre, started in 2000, is a 42 ha (100 acres) wetland wildlife reserve, formerly consisting of several small reservoirs. It includes now several sustainable gardens.
The WWT was the first urban project of this kind in the UK, and run by the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust.
The site is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as receptions, weddings...
