Cesky Krumlov Castle, houses beautiful art collections and a theatre, which is one of the world's most completely preserved Baroque theatres.

It dates back to 1240 when it was built the Witigonen family. It later passed on to the Schwarzenbergs and became in 1950 it became definitively the property of the Czechoslovak State.

It is important monument in Central Europe, with its architectural development from the 13th to the 19th century. A covered bridge from the main chateau crosses a ravine and leads directly to the garden with its formal parterre planting.
