Culross Palace & Garden. Named also the 'Great Lodging' of Culross, the palace is situated in Culross Village, and managed by the National Trust for Scotland. It was built 1597-1611 by Sir George Bruce, a merchang and coal-mining entrepreneur.
The House has tiny rooms, connecting passageways and painted ceilings. The garden has been restored lately and visitors can buy seasonal herbs, fruit and vegetables from the organic garden.
