The Monumental Cemetery Verona ( Cimitero Monumentale di Verona) is a real open-air museum, a unique place of worship, home to monuments and funeral sculptures of the most famous families from Verona and from outside, including also many artistic tombs and monuments.
The complex, was designed by the architect Giuseppe Barbieri, whereas after the death of Giuseppe Barbieri in 1838, the work was supervised by architect Francesco Ronzani who concluded the works in six years.
