Musée des Automates displays automatons, giving an overview of the French manufacture of mechanical automatons from 1850 until 1930. The museum is housed in the Hôtel Arturo Lopez, also known as the Hôtel Rodocanachi.
It was built in 1903 by architect Paul Rodocanachi in the style of the 18th century and bought in 1928 by the wealthy patron of the arts, Arturo Lopez, to collect furniture from royal residences.
The building was acquired in 1971 by the municipality, to be used as a museum and cultural center.
