The Musée Pasteur, part of the Institut Pasteur, is dedicated to the life and work of Louis Pasteur (1822 – 1895), the famous scientist renowned for his discoveries of the principles of vaccinations, pasteurization...
The museum is housed in the apartment at the Institut Pasteur where he spent the last seven years of his life. Noteworthy is also the magnificent Byzantine-style crypt where Louis Pasteur is buried alongside his wife.
