The Museum of London, established in 1912, tells the story of the capital from its first settlers to modern times, being a true urban and social centre. We have sites in central London, Docklands, and in Hackney.
The Mortimer Wheeler House, a former warehouse in Hackney, becomes in 1992 the museum’s main store and subsequently its archaeological hub
The Museum of London Docklands was opened in 2003 and is located in a Grade I listed warehouse at Canary Wharf, not far from the river Thames.
The museum is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as conferences, meetings, weddings...
