Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Museums & Art Centres
Negova Castle, dating back to the 11th-12th century, is a castle complex with the old castle, the new palace, and an outer bailey with a wall and inner courtyard. The new palace was built in the 17th century for Count Maximilian von Trauttmansdorff, whose descendants only used it mainly during summer, for short periods.
The castle complex was heavily plundered and neglected after WW II.
Today, the renovated Negova Castle encompasses a complex of buildings representing an architectural, tourist and business attraction, with several exhibitions and serving as a venue for corporate and private events such as business meetings, celebrations and weddings.
The complex of buildings also includes a rich herbal park.
