Pazo de Lourizan

Pazo de Lourizan, dating back to the 15th century, is a 52 ha estate, used today for educational purposes, botanical research and experimentation. It contains the manor, greenhouses and gardens.
The estate was acquired in 1941 by the ‘Deputación Provincial de Pontevedra’ from the heirs of the politician Mr. Eugenio Montero Rios, who had bought and developed the estate in the 19th century.
