Villa Palagonia is a Sicilian Baroque villa, built from 1715. Its garden is famous for the statues of monsters. Since 1885 the villa is owned and inhabited by the Castronovi family, and is open to the public by guided tours.
The famous 18th century 'monsters' were the idea of Francesco Ferdinando II Gravina, Prince of Palagonia.
The villa is also a venue for corporate and private events, such as receptions and weddings.
