Bantry House and Garden, home to the White family since 1739, houses an important private collection of furniture and objects of art. It is open to the public since 1946 and still lived in and managed by the family.
The House is surrounded by a beautiful garden, created by Richard White, 2nd Earl of Bantry (1800 – 868) and his wife Mary.
It offers also B&B., special and private events, such as weddings.
