The Basilica Palladiana

The Palladian Basilica is a public building redesigned by Andrea Palladio (1508 – 1580), adding the famous loggias with serliana openings in white marble to the existing Gothic building. Today the building now often hosts exhibitions, whereas its large hall used for civic events.
