The Olympic Theatre, Vicenza was constructed in 1580–1585 and designed by the Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The trompe-l'oel stage set dates from 1585, and was designed by Vincenzo Scamozzi. It s one an artistic wonder and hence a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
