The Béla Bartók International Choir Competition and Folklore Festival is a main annual choral event, for more than 50 years.
It offers Folklore shows, dance houses, culinary programmes as well as workshops.
Everything in the ambiance of Hungarian hospitality, the delicious food and wine.
The competition was founded by the conductor and college professor György Gulyás, a prominent figure of the Hungarian musical culture of the 20th century.
The venue is the Kölcsey Convention Centre in Debrecen a conference venue and prominent cultural centre of East-Hungary.
