Caerhays Castle

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks, Private Collections
Caerhays Castle dates back to 1259 and came into the Williams family in 1854, who still inhabits it today. The castle and the 140 acres landscape garden, with the largest collection of magnolias in England, are open to the public.

Caerhays was designed by John Nash in 1805 and the garden took on its present form after 1896. The estate has also cottages available for private hire and is also a venue for TV, Film & photo shooting, cultural, corporate and private events, such as concerts, receptions, weddings...

Burncoose House, a beautiful Georgian Country House, part of the estate, can also be rented for TV, Film & photo shooting, cultural, corporate and private events.

The Burncoose Nurseries, opened in 1984, has now become one of the biggest of UK plant mail order businesses, specialising in rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, magnolias and bamboos.
