The Manor House, Bedlow is the family home of the in 2018 deceased Conservative politician, former cabinet minister and Secretary General of Nato, Lord Carrington. The Manor House was designed by Robert Adams, and has two gardens, open at varying times of the year: The Manor House Gardens and the Lyde Garden.

The Manor House Gardens: There is a walled kitchen garden, water garden, parterres and sculptures. These private gardens are only open to the public on selected days each year. (see website: http://www.carington.co.uk)

The Lyde Garden: The garden is a sunken aquatic garden, created by Lord Carrington, and located opposite the family home. The garden is a tributary to the River Thames, planted with primulas, astilbes, gunnera and hostas.

Location: Church End, Bledlow, Nr Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire (HP27 9PD)

This private garden is open at the owners’ discretion from 9am – 4pm daily.  No dogs please.

The Carington estates include also commercial property and farming.

In addition it is a venue for TV, Film & Photo shooting, Field Sports/Family Shoot, and corporate or private events at The Manor House Gardens.
