The Fort de la Pompelle Museum is dedicated to the history and memory of WW I, presenting a rich collection of German helmets, uniforms and other related objects. It describes the experience of men and the hardships of battle in Champagne and Reims.
Fort de la Pompelle was one of several forts built around Reims as part of a fortification system, after the Franco-Prussian War of 1870, and has been completely restored.
