The Garden House

Gardens & Parks
The Garden House is a 16th century vicarage, surrounded by a 3.2 ha (8 acres) garden. The garden is centred around the ruins of Buckland's medieval vicarage and was the creation of Lionel and Katharine Fortescue since the 1960s.

The garden has several different gardens, such as the beautiful walled garden, quarry garden, cottage garden, a wild flower garden, the South African garden, acer glade and oval garden with an undulating wall.

Lionel and Katharine Fortescue set up the The Fortescue Garden Trust in order to preserve its future.
