Hidcote Manor Gardens

Hidcote Manor was built in 17th century as a farmhouse. In 1907 it was acquired by Major Lawrence, on behalf of his mother. He created the famous Arts & Crafts garden, which was largely completed early 1920s.

He created a series of magnificent garden rooms, which made Hidcote soon as famous as the renowned Sissinghurst.

In 1948 the property was taken over by the National Trust, who preserves it with great care for the future generations.
