The centre hosts international symposia for artists, creative workshops and master classes as well as art education programmes for children and youth. It offers accommodation, seminar and conference rooms, a chamber hall with a grand piano, as well as a souvenir shop and Arsenal Café. 

Restoration works are under way to create a Memorial House for the Latvian ceramist Pēteris Martinsons (1931 - 2013). which will house a permanent exhibition as a tribute to the artist.
