Mozarthaus Vienna

The Mozarthaus Vienna was Mozart's residence from 1784 to 1787, and is today, as a museum, dedicated to his life and work. The visitors start their tour on the third floor, where they can learn details about Mozart’s lifestyle, whereas the exhibition on the second floor focuses mainly on Mozart’s operas.

The Wien Museum Mozart apartment on the first floor, managed by Wien Museum, is showing the authentic rooms in which Mozart and his family actually lived. It consists of four large rooms, two small rooms and a kitchen. Here he composed a number of major works including Le Nozze di Figaro.
