Musée d'Art Classique de Mougins

Museums & Art Centres
The Musée d'Art Classique de Mougins  (Museum of Classical Art of Mougins), opened in 2011, is displaying ancient, neo-classical, modern and contemporary art side by side to show the pervasive and lasting influence of the ancient world: a dialogue and fusion between ancient and modern.

The visitors can admire works by Sir Peter Paul Rubens, Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, Damien Hirst and many others, alongside large collections of Roman, Greek and Egytian antiques.

The museum was founded by Christian Levett, a British investment manager with a passion for history and art.
