Museums & Art Centres
Museum of Antiquities Turin (or he Archaeological Museum), located in Royal Palace orangery, displays the archaeological collections formed by the Royal House of Savoy over the centuries, together with international donations and acquisitions.

In 1998 a new pavilion was created with special focus on the Piedmont region, including a section on the Roman cities in Piedmont. Noteworthy is the section dedicated to Augusta Taurinorum in the basement of the New Channel of the Royal Palace.

Today the museum is part of the Musei Reali di Torino (Royal Palace, the Sabauda Gallery, the Archaeological Museum, the Armoury and the Royal Library).
