The Museum of Fine Arts Ghent (MSK) is the oldest museum in Belgium and contains a collection of about 9,000 works, from the Middle Ages to the first half of the 20th century. Over 600 works are shown in the museum’s permanent collection presentation.
Old Masters such as Jheronimus Bosch, Peter Paul Rubens and Anthony van Dyck hang alongside impressionists, surrealists and modernists such as James Ensor, Auguste Rodin, Emile Claus, René Magritte and George Minne.
In addition, the museum offers a busy programme of exhibitions, lectures, tours and other activities.
