The Musée Wiertz Museum, part of the Royal Museums of Fine Art of Belgium, is a house museum in the original home & studio of the painter, sculptor and writer Antoine Wiertz (1806-1865). He loved the spectacular, painting giant canvasses.
After his death, the entire collection of works then in his studio was bequeathed to the state.
