Parc de Caradeuc
Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks
Château de Caradeuc, built in the 18th century, is privately owned and inhabited. Only the park gardens are open to the public.
They were redesigned in 1898 by the landscape architect Édouard André, in the French classical garden style, and include flowered lawns, wooded alleys, pools and follies with statues of historical or mythological characters.
The château was built for Anne Nicolas de La Chalotais, a Councillor of Request at Brittany's parliament, and is still inhabited by his descendants.
