Peover Hall

Castles & Country Houses, Event, Film & Wedding Hire, Gardens & Parks, Private Collections
Peover Hall dates back to 1585 when it was built by Sir Randle Mainwaring and came into the hands the Brooks family in 1939. The House, with its historic collections, and its 20th century Arts and Crafts garden, are open to the public.

The Hall is an Elizabethan house and a rare gem that boasts a fascinating history and is still used today as a family home.

Peover Hall is part of The Tatton Estate, is the largest private landowner in east Cheshire and responsible for several thousand acres of land and around 500 residential and commercial properties. The Tatton Estate has been under careful stewardship of the Brooks family since the death of the last Lord Egerton in 1957 when Tatton Hall and Park were separated and gifted to the National Trust.
