The Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum, named for and opened by Queen Sofia in 1990, is focusing on 20th century art, with particular attention to Spanish artists such as Picasso and Dali.
The museum forms, together with the Prado and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums, the 'Golden Triangle'.
