Museums & Art Centres
The Museum of Croatian Culture in Devínska Nova Ves is dedicated to the history of the Croatian ethnic minority in Slovakia, whose origin lays in the 16th century when Croatians escaping from the Turkish threat colonised the area of the Small Carpathians and Bratislava as well as the area of present day Austria, Hungary and Moravia.
The museum is housed in a modern building in the village of Devínska Nová Ves. The village was originally settled by Croatian colonists.
The Exhibition objects originate particularly from Devínska Nová Ves, Šenkvice and the villages of Jarovce and Čunovo.
