Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker

Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker is, since 1946, an annual chamber music festival at the end of July-begin of August, in Hitzacker (Elbe). It brings a wide variety of chamber music.
The festival includes:
Everyman's Choir: Enthusiastic hobby singers get together on the festival weekdays at Everyman’s Choir.
Festival Academy is the festival's academy for young music students, with pre-concert and post-concert audience sessions.
The Beethoven Lab 2020 is a project of the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, supported by the Department of Culture and Media of the German Federal Government, where nine young composers are being given several years time to develop their visions of New Music and bring them to performance. The Hitzacker Summer Festival is an ideal platform for their first concert project.
