The Vilnius Picture Gallery, housed in the elegant Chodkevičiai (Chodkiewicz) Palace with late Classicism interiors, features a permanent exhibition dedicated to the development of Lithuanian art from the 16th century to the beginning of the 20th century.
Of particular interest are the works from the 18th and 19th centuries by the Vilnius Art School.
The gallery regularly hosts temporary exhibitions, cultural evenings and classical music concerts.
The Vilnius Picture Gallery was founded in 1956 and is a Division of the Lithuanian Art Museum.
