York Early Music Festival

York Early Music Festival is, since 1977, an arts festival, but mainly for early music, from Baroque and earlier. It is held in York in July and organised by the National Centre for Early Music.
The NCEM promotes three early music festivals a year in Yorkshire - the York Early Music Festival in July, the Christmas festival in York in early December and the Beverley festival in the East Riding in May.
