Hodnet Hall
Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks
Hodnet Hall is the ancestral home of the Heber-Percy family. Only the 25 ha (60 acres) garden of brilliantly coloured flowers, magnificent forest trees, sweeping lawns and a chain of ornamental pools, are open to the public.
The old Hall from the late 16th century was demolished in 1870 when a new hall, designed by Anthony Salvin, was built.
