The Domaine de Madame Elisabeth (Château de Montreuil) was the charming residence which King Louis XVI had bought in 1783 for his sister, Madame Elisabeth, after the bankruptcy of its former owners the Prince and Princess of Rohan-Guéméné. The Château and 8 ha park, is today a place dedicated to nature, the arts and culture.
