La Vallée-aux-Loups, La Maison de Chateaubriand is the country estate of the famous writer, politician, diplomat and historian from 1807 until 1818. It is now a museum and offers also temporary exhibitions, shows, guided tours, conferences and debates.
It has also a library, which is dedicated to Chateaubriand and French romanticism.
The park contains the Valléda Tower, where the historical Chateaubriand liked to write.
Next to the property there is the Arboretum de la Vallée-aux-Loups, with a series of theme gardens.
