The Royal Monastery of Pedralbes, today a museum showing the collections of the Museum of Barcelona, dates back to the 14th century. It was founded by Queen Elisenda de Montcada in 1327, and was lived in by the Poor Clare community from 1327 until 1983.
The monastery has a large and beautiful cloister garden.
