Clandeboye Estate (1674) is today the home to Lindy, Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava. The House itself was build in 1801. The grounds and Courtyard are open to the public with cultural and private events.
Whereas the House can not be visited, the estate is undertaking numerous commercial activities such as conferences, weddings, concerts...
Thanks to the 1st Marquess (1826-1902), Clandeboye is home to the historic parklands (by James Frazer). The estate is also home to the Conservation Volunteers Northern Ireland.
