Museums & Art Centres
The Collection of Historic Musical Instruments, part of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, contains a large collection of musical instruments which have their origins in Habsburg holdings and has expanded ever since.
The museum features the most important collection of renaissance and baroque instruments worldwide and includes a wide range of clavichords and Viennese fortepianos.
The Matinees in the museum give visitors the opportunity to both see and hear various instruments.
