Corsham Court, a former royal manor, was acquired by Sir Paul Methuen in 1757, and is currently the family home of the present Baron Methuen, James Methuen-Campbell. The House, with its significant art collection, park and gardens (Lancelot 'Capability' Brown) are open to the public.
