Erlangen Botanic Garden (2 ha) was created in 1747 and was relocated to the northern part of Erlangen Schlossgarten in 1828. It is owned and managed by the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg.
It contains also ca. 1700 m² Tropical and Subtropical greenhouses.
