The Gardens of Easton Lodge
Castles & Country Houses, Gardens & Parks
Easton Lodge has become famous for its owner Daisy Greville, Countess of Warwick (1861 – 1938), the well known socialite of her time and mistress to King Edward VII. The house and estate were heavily damaged during WW II.
Today much of the estate is owned by Land Securities.
Part of the West wing still stands. It was acquired in 1971, and used as a private house, whereas the restored gardens are open to the public since 2003.
The gardens were designed in 1902 by Harold Peto.
